RAFFLES RESORTS & RESIDENCES – PRASLIN ISLAND, SEYCHELLES  []

Asia Pacific Projects senior personnel and members were previously involved with the works and delivery of the Raffles Praslin Seychelles. The development consisted of the main hotel, 90 guest villas and 33 residential villas on a 92 hectare beachside property on the island of Praslin, Seychelles. This project was extremely challenging due to the logistics of working on a remote island and that it was built to fit into the natural surroundings, protection of the islands fora and flora was of utmost importance.

NUSA DUA BEACH HOTEL & SPA – BALI  []

Asia Pacific Projects senior personnel and members were previously involved with the works and delivery of the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa. This project was a fast track, high quality refurbishment of 388 keys and spa.to align with a new contemporary design preserving the “Balinese gene” The project was very challenging as it was done in an operational resort ensuring mitigation of noise, dust and any inconvenience to hotel guests and hotel operations.

BLUE MOUNTAIN LODGE – HAZEY VIEW, SOUTH AFRICA  []

Asia Pacific Projects senior personnel and members were previously involved with the works and the delivery of the Blue Mountain Lodge and Residences in Hazey View (on the border of the Kruger National Game Reserve) in South Africa. Blue Mountain Lodge is an exclusive 5 star luxury lodge set in a 200 hectare area of indigenous bush located in the most picturesque area of Mpumalanga, South Africa, near the Kruger Park. The Lodge was the first South African hotel to be invited onto the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World” list, Mr. Nelson Mandela being one of the first guests at the Lodge. The first Estate House built was bought by Trish Wilson of Wilson and Associates, the Interior Designer for several of the Sun International Complexes and the Blue Train. The project consisted of the Main Hotel, the “Provencal” Quadrant Complex and the Estate Houses as a turnkey project from conception through to the final hand over.

THE TRAFALGAR HOTEL – LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM  []

Asia Pacific Projects senior personnel and members were previously involved with the works and delivery of The Trafalgar Hotel in London, United Kingdom. The project was built after 5 separate buildings were acquired by the developer, each of the separate buildings were Grade 2 Heritage listed. Due to the heritage listing, the existing facades had to be preserved, the hotel was thus a “new build” behind the existing preserved facades. The project was very difficult due to the facades having to be propped for stability and then temporarily reinforced in order to protect them from any damage during the demolition of the existing attached structures behind.

THE SOUTHERN SUN NEWLANDS HOTEL – CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA  []

Asia Pacific Projects senior personnel and members were previously involved with the works and delivery of Southern Suns Newlands Hotel. The hotel is set in the lush garden suburb of Newlands in Cape Town with a spectacular view of Devil's Peak on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. A host of local attractions lie within the area too, from Cavendish Square shopping centre to Newlands Forest, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens,  Rhodes Memorial and the Newlands Sports Stadium which hosts both cricket and rugby internationals.

WALDORF HOTEL + SERVICED APARTMENTS – AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND  []

Asia Pacific Projects senior personnel and members were previously involved with the works and the delivery of the Waldorf Hotel and Serviced Apartments in Auckland, New Zealand. This was D + B (Design & Build) Project with the development brief being to design a hotel - on the extended Britomart site - to compliment a sub-precinct which accommodates commercial, retail and apartment developments all situated around a central car park structure (Eastside Car Park) . A prerequisite for approval of the development of the hotel was to provide through-site pedestrian linkages – connecting up with other sub-precinct development through-site links – providing ease of access from the adjacent Britomart Railway Terminus to the Vector Arena Stadium.
